I'm Not an Influencer, But Here's How you can be one

It has always been said “ Those who can’t do,Teach”, so here I am sharing tips on how you can be an Influencer even though I’m not one.

Hi, I’m Lorane and I’ve been a Lifestyle Blogger in Jamaica for 10 years! My Blog Haute People has afforded me some of the most amazing opportunities such as covering New York Fashion Week, being nominated for a South Florida Blogger Awards in 2017 and 2018 in the Lifestyle Category and most recently being invited to Cover Paris Fashion Week in October 2021. The Blog has also allowed me to be invited to numerous exclusive events locally and internationally. Because of the success of the Blog, I was fascinated with this new online world and wanted to learn more so I ventured off and explored Digital Marketing where I enrolled in a Digital Marketing Course and soon landed a job at a local Advertising Agency. 

I love my job and was excited about this new world where I could express myself creatively and wear cute outfits to work!

I was now on the other side of things where I was now considered a “Brand” where we would reach out to several Influencers to work with on campaigns. During this time, I realized that though people are popular and creative on Social Media, not all are truly influencers, and not all these individuals knew what they were doing they could use some direction as they were leaving A LOT of money on the table and needed to be guided.
